The Huamei Boarding Program provides Grade 3 to Grade 12 students with opportunities to develop the ability to live independently. Boarding life teaches students respect and tolerance, as well as the ability to actively and collaboratively seek solutions to problems, preparing students for future challenges. We met with G11 students on Friday (Feb 25, 2022) where we kicked off their university application process.

50 staff, students and family members from the community took the short trip to Anbo Mountain on Saturday, February 19 for a full day of skiing and snowboarding.

On January 14th, International Principal Mr. McFall and School Counselor Ms. Carrie Sun presented on the school's recoursed for children's psychological well-being and anti-bullying policy and practices. Safeguarding is always our school's top priority as we know there's nothing parents want more than for their children to be safe from harm.

50 students from the DHS and DAIS secondary school have participated in the winter choir concert that took place on January 12th. The snow flakes dancing outside the windows complemented the theme of the concert “Winter Wonderland”. 

On January 19th, our current parents had a coffee time with Nathan and chatted about student academic performance, character building and social relationship development.  

On January 14th, DHS Elementary School organized its first recital competition. A total of 34 students delivered recitals and practiced public speaking skills.
