DAIS Grade 7 students explored a robotics activity with Ms. Ana Diarez, now a licensed VEX Robotics coach. Students tested their tower designs on a simulated earthquake platform to see how vibration and lateral forces affect structural stability. They planned, tested, refined, and retested their models while collecting data and comparing results. The activity strengthened problem‑solving skills and gave students a real‑world understanding of how scientists and engineers design safer, more resilient structures.
