IMG Collaboration

At DAIS and Huamei, we create life-changing experiences for our students through global NAE collaborations with world-leading institutions and organizations. Building on the success of collaborations with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and UNICEF, this academic year we are entering a landmark partnership with another global leader - IMG Academy. 

What Is IMG Academy?

IMG Academy, founded in 1978 by tennis coach Nick Bollettieri, is based in the U.S. at its state‑of‑the‑art campus in Bradenton, Florida. It is globally recognized not only for elite athletic training but also for an educational philosophy that reflects our holistic approach at DAIS and DHS. As a leading institution in sports, education, and media, IMG Academy has shaped generations of champions, including world No. 1 athletes like the Williams sisters and Maria Sharapova, and set the gold standard in sports education. 

At DAIS and Huamei, we develop well-rounded students equipped with the skills and mindset to succeed in life. The NAE collaboration with IMG Academy – the world's leading sports education institution – will give students the opportunity to build confidence, resilience, and leadership through high-performance athletic training and personal development programs. 

Sport is more than just physical activity; it teaches discipline, teamwork, and perseverance – essential skills for success in academics, careers, and life. Through this collaboration, students will experience IMG Academy's world-renowned approach to athletic and personal development, with access to expert coaching, wellbeing resources, and mindset training that help them thrive in competitive environments. 

IMG Academy+  Essentials

IMG Academy+ Essentials, a portal developed by IMG Academy experts, gives Nord Anglia students and parents access to expert-led courses in mental resilience, sports nutrition, confidence building, leadership, and performance psychology. Unlike traditional school sports programs, these modules provide practical strategies for competitions, team leadership, and stress management. They are not just athletic skills; they are life skills that build lasting, positive habits. Each course supports well-rounded development, from nutrition science to character formation, echoing our commitment to holistic education.  

Through this digital approach, we bring world‑class developmental resources into everyday learning, supporting students who engage in the program to broaden perspectives, build character, and grow key competencies for an increasingly interconnected world. Scan the code on the poster to join:

NAE Challenge

NAE students have exclusive opportunities to take part in high-performance training at IMG Academy's state-of-the-art campus in Florida during annual, weeklong events where they work with elite coaches in sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, and more.

As the world’s most prestigious sports academy, IMG Academy  offers high-performance camps, personalized athletic training, and elite coaching for students with sporting talents, while emphasizing multidimensional personal growth. These experiences will enrich student profiles and strengthen competitiveness in U.S. college admissions. For some, they may even open doors to direct recruitment by university coaches.
