Hour of Code

The 6th and 5th grades have been practicing their coding and expanding their knowledge of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be applied to their work. This year's hour of code focuses on educating students about AI, what it is, and how it works. Additional topics that were addressed include machine learning, and neural networks, with particular attention being paid to ethics and how they relate to this ever-expanding field.  These activities were based on the international "Hour of Code" which is held in many schools worldwide.
