Secondary Art students at Dalian American International School met with Joaquín de Jesús Moratillo - a talented illustrator, comics creator, and storyteller originally from Lima, Peru.
The son of our Visual Arts Department Head Mr. Martin, Joaquín graduated from Dalian American International School and has a bachelor’s degree in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Grown up in both Peru and China, he has a fascination for the science fiction, magical realism, fantasy, and absurdism.
