For Susan, becoming Valedictorian 2025 was all about embracing life’s journey and following her own unique path.

Eileen Wu, a graduate of the class of '23, was attracted to this school and decided to attend Cornell University from the beginning of her early application process.

Tommy received offers from Northeastern University, Purdue University, and Arizona State University.

What does a teenager look like?

Through studying in Huamei, students not only receive admission letters from top universities but more importantly, they have the ability to study and live independently overseas or return to China and develop their own business.

 We are in the season for university applications for DAIS/DHS Class of 2023 students.

Advanced education does not only focus on academic performance. Our school creates opportunities for our students to broaden their horizons, ignite their curiosity, and become lifelong learners.

Our certified and experienced college counselors give expert guidance and support to our students as they transition from secondary to higher education.  Their expertise expands from top 10 liberal art colleges in the U.S., Red Brick Universities in the U.K. to professional art colleges. From writing references and recommendation letters to providing feedback on applications to holding mock interviews, we ensure that every student has the tools to master the college application process and secure a place at their first-choice university. 

During the 2021-2022 academic year, excellent DHS students stood out in various competitions and showed their talents in various fields. Our students came out on top in such events as the American Mathematics Competition (AMC) and the UK Chemistry Olympiad (UKChO), the National High School Debate League of China (NHSDLC) and the World Scholar's Cup (WSC).

Judy began her journey at Dalian Huamei School in the ninth grade. At DHS, she learned for the first time that there can be so many student organizations, ASAs and different courses at school for her to discover her career interests.
