Elementary Bilingual

Middle School

Focusing on the core content of the national curriculum, the program customizes an inquiry-based learning model which caters to the way that middle schoolers learn best. While ensuring in-depth learning of individual subjects, students develop the capabilities for scientific research, such as interest stimulation, inquiry-based thinking, hands-on approaches, and reflection and summary. Students in the middle school will be well prepared to complete the courses in English in grades 10–12 and enroll at top universities overseas.

American Curriculum
Students in Middle School consolidate their subject knowledge, progressing with the American Curriculum and getting ready for High School. All students have the opportunity to be part of sports teams, academic teams and participate in After-School Activities, which emphasize inclusiveness and teamwork.

American high school programme

The American high school programme cater to the diversified options for studying abroad. Adopting the concepts of American education, lectures are all delivered in English and in a small class setting. The inquiry-based instruction model is adopted to help students develop their ability to express and solve problems, and think critically, so as to foster their learning drive and innovative thinking.

Students are awarded a US high school diploma upon graduation. On average, each of our graduates receives offers from 6 universities. All of our graduates go on to overseas universities, and 75% are enrolled in world-renowned post-secondary institutions

American Common Core & Advanced Placement Program
Bilingual students continue their educational journey through the US High School program and Advanced Placement (AP) program.

AP PROGRAM

DHS provide 21 AP courses, which can satisfy students’ demands for personalized learning and studying abroad.

AP program offers college-level curricula to high-school students, which is more challenging than the regular high-school curricula. A selective process will review requests and use a variety of criteria to determine students’ enrollments in AP courses. The number and difficulty of AP courses students take will play a significant role when a university assesses academic levels of students.
